This page describes how Angel Van Lines treats the personal details you provide at angelvanlines.com. It governs three situations equally: you typed information into our estimate form, you spoke with our Dallas office by phone, or you only viewed the site without contacting anyone.
Who operates this site
The business behind angelvanlines.com is Angel Van Lines, a Texas-licensed moving company located at 8350 N Central Expy, Suite 1900, Dallas, TX 75206. Got a question about information we hold on you? Our team picks up on (888) 711-4778, or you can write to [email protected].
Commitments we make about your contact details
Your information is not for sale. We do not transfer it to brokers. Your number stays with our company alone; competing movers in the Metroplex never receive it, and we place it on no lead-trading service of any kind.
The two ways information reaches us
Details arrive through two distinct paths. The first is what you choose to share while requesting a price. The second is the routine technical logging that runs on any site.
Provided intentionally during a quote request or call:
- Your name, a contact number, and an email when you elect to give one
- Both ZIP codes for the trip, the date you want, the room count, and extras you mention, perhaps proof of insurance a building requires or an entry code for a gated community
Recorded silently in the background:
- The address you connected from, the browser handling your visit, plus a log noting the pages you opened
Every field serves a defined function. Your contact information and trip details let Vanessa prepare a firm price and return it to you; the background log keeps the website operational and shows us approximate visitor totals. There are no third-party advertising trackers placed on any page. A privacy-focused counter measures only general visit volume, and turning on Do Not Track in your browser removes you from that measurement as well.
What the information accomplishes
The process reduces to four linked stages: price it, schedule it, complete it, and follow up.
- Calculating a firm price and returning it by phone or email
- Reserving your preferred date on our schedule once you confirm
- Performing the relocation itself, which involves assigning the crew, submitting a building insurance certificate when one is needed, holding the freight elevator, and arranging entry through the gate or the association’s permitted moving slot
- One short follow-up after completion asking about your experience
Retention periods
One thing decides it: did the move get booked and carried out, or did it stall at the price stage?
| Record type | How long it stays | Why |
|---|---|---|
| A price request that never became a booking | Removed at 90 days | Keeping it longer serves no purpose |
| A finished relocation, together with the booking and price behind it | Stored seven years | Needed for tax filings, for any insurance dispute that surfaces later, and to comply with the interstate household-goods regulation found at 49 CFR § 375 that applies to that segment |
Who is permitted to view it
Viewing is restricted to the few parties a finished relocation truly involves:
- Our payrolled W-2 crew members, each vetted by a background screening prior to working
- An insurer assessing a cargo dispute, in the unusual case one occurs
- A building’s leasing desk or an HOA that needs proof of insurance or clearance at the gate, brought in strictly after you approve
- Public agencies when legally obligated, specifically the IRS for taxation and, regarding the hauling, the TxDMV alongside the FMCSA
Advertisers, broker networks, data vendors, and rival movers receive nothing whatsoever.
How the information is secured
Transmissions occur over HTTPS, and the data rests inside a CRM that requires valid login credentials for entry.
- Your information never crosses an unencrypted path at any stage
- It is stored beyond the reach of the public internet
- If a security incident ever arose, affected individuals would be informed within the timeframes mandated by Texas statute and pertinent federal law
Phone, text, and ending contact
Submitting the estimate form authorizes Angel Van Lines to respond using the phone number or email you supplied, including automated text messages where appropriate. Standard carrier charges for messaging and data may apply. Withdrawing that permission takes one step, by whichever route below suits you:
Ways to opt out of contact
- Text: Reply with STOP to any text from us and you are unsubscribed, typically by that day’s end.
- Phone: Call (888) 711-4778; Crystal will take your number off our calling list.
- Email: Put “REMOVE” in the subject of a note to [email protected], and your details come out of our quote file.
- Federal registry: We comply with the FTC registry, and you may list your number at donotcall.gov.
What you can ask us to do
Drop a line to [email protected] naming the option you want, and we handle it without delay.
- Access
- Request a copy of everything currently filed under your name.
- Correction
- Point out any error, and the entry gets amended.
- Erasure
- Request removal of your data at a time of your choosing, except for records the seven-year hold on completed work and federal recordkeeping require us to preserve.
California rights (CCPA / CPRA)
Residents of California receive additional protections through California’s CCPA and CPRA statutes:
- Learning the categories of personal data recorded about them
- Requesting deletion within the bounds of the law
- Declining the sale of their data, although no sale is ever conducted
- Experiencing no disadvantage for invoking these protections
Email [email protected] with “CCPA REQUEST” in the subject line, and our team takes it from there.
Visitors under 13
This website serves adults organizing a relocation, not children 12 and younger. Angel Van Lines does not knowingly gather data from that group; if some does reach us by accident, tell us and we erase it.
Updates to this policy
Periodic edits to this page are expected, and the date at the top will shift accordingly each time. Continuing to use the site, or sending in another estimate request later on, means you accept whatever version is live at that moment.
